Why McCain/Palin lost

Now that the US election is over, information that was embargoed as too damaging is seeing the light of day.
For example, we now hear that Sarah Palin didn’t know that Africa was a continent and couldn’t name the countries in NAFTA (hint: the country she lives in and the two neighbouring countries. No, not Russia). We’re also told she couldn’t find Africa on a map. Update: that last claim was a hoax. Sorry for being fooled, everyone.
