Sorry to inject something pitifully sad into a normally funny blog, but two news stories have collided as Westboro Baptist Church (famous for picketing the funerals of AIDS victims and Iraq war soldiers; first brought to British TV screens by Michael Moore and more recently profiled in a Louis Theroux documentary, “The Most Hated Family in America”) have announced that they plan to picket the funerals of the Virginia Tech massacre victims. They say that the murderer was sent by God to punish an America that tolerates homosexuality.
