This is a bit of what I call “intense ambient” music, the title being a bit of a pun. The music is made almost entirely by digital resonators. Other “instruments” include a male voice speaking German backwards and chopped into tiny bursts and, at the start, a radio.
It was going to be the climax of my CD, “Crisis Music” but people don’t listen to CDs anymore, so you get it on its own. Listen right now:
Or download the MP3. Not the right sort of music for work or the bus queue: listen to it in a deserted barn out in the country in the middle of the night.

The premise of the film Open Water 2 (people unable to get back onto the boat they jumped from) sparks an interesting discussion on the IMDb message boards. Can you really lift someone out of the water while yourself submerged? Scroll down for the more lurid bikini-bridge style suggestions.

There are loads of Star Wars fan films out there - this is a novel twist on the genre, and the lightsabre stuff is really nicely done. Check out: Stabbing at Leia’s 22nd Birthday Party. Some strong language, and obviously, a stabbing.

Every day for the week leading up to my birthday I’m going to put online a new piece of art. The first is a piece of synth-pop that I wrote a few years ago. Yes, it is influenced by New Order. No, singing is not my strong point. Listen inline:
or download the MP3.

OK , so this is just a viral campaign for some American blenders, but boy, some of the vids are cool! Check out the Coke smoothie, or what happens when you blend golf balls… and many, many more. The ‘Don’t try this at home’ section is best, but they’re all quite amusing. Will It Blend? - have a look and see!

So you think you can draw better than your kids, huh? Well this page exhibits some pictures which have reimagined some childrens paintings/drawings, and some of the results are really nice. See Kids Creatures at DrawerGeeks, which if you follow the links has some pretty nice work on other subjects too - personally, I really liked the interpretations of David and Goliath.

It’s been going for years but amazingly we haven’t featured it on DnC yet. The Pornolizer transforms any web page you feed in to reveal its secret porn meaning. What does your favourite web page look like pornolized? Tip: give it the URL of a page with lots of capitalised names. Your work staff page perhaps?
